Diane Cook-Tench

Career
Diane is the Founding Director of Virginia Commonwealth University’s grad school, the
Brandcenter.
Launched in 1995, the goal was to educate the next generation of communications
leaders. With help from esteemed professionals including a number of the One Club’s
Hall Of Fame leaders, that goal has become a reality.
Today, the VCU Brandcenter boasts a league of alumni that lead major brand work
across the world. You’ll find them at the forefront of creative, strategic, and experience
design fields.

A graduate of the Minneapolis College of Art & Design, Diane began her career in art
direction.
Prior to teaching, Diane won over 100 national and international awards for her creative
work including One Show pencils, Clios, and Lions from the Cannes Festivals.
She’s the proud mom of two daughters.
